Sunday, February 28, 2010
My latest collage inspired by Jane Austin's book "Emma" a story set in Regency England.

Emma Woodhouse, is a young, beautiful, witty, and privileged woman, who loves to meddle in matchmaking.

Available for purchase from Cafe Baudelaire and as a greeting card from Mulberry Muse

For Jane Austin fans living in New York from March the 14th at The Morgan Library, an exhibition of the extraordinary life and work of Jane Austin will be on view.

Regency Romance

I love the Romance of Jane Austin's books, it is lovely to sit in a comfy chair, cup of tea in hand and indulge in a little romantic escape.

This beautiful gocco printed card is from Yardia on etsy

A Regency period dress accompanied by the phrase, "A girl likes to be crossed in love a little now and then.

" The text is taken from Jane Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice".

Washing up can be romantic too! with this gorgeous Dish Towel from Brookish

I repainted her face, I think she looks a little cross, I think my moods tend to reflect in my painting!
