Saint Valentines Day
Sunday, February 13, 2011 Posted by UnknownSaint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, celebrated on February 14th.
The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs, St Valentine. It is traditionally a day when lovers express their love for each other with gifts of cards, flowers and chocolates.
I think that Valentines day should be kept as a day for lovers and not extended to family, friends.
The commercialization spoils the sweet and special nature of the day.
The commercialization spoils the sweet and special nature of the day.
It ought to be as it traditionally was, a special celebration for those in love.
