New Home

Thursday, July 21, 2011
Having recently moved to a new home, well not so new really, but newly renovated, in part!
I was inspired to give my little birds a stylish new home for their flying bird cage, so inspired by Versailles and the luxurious Parisian apartments.

"Deer Park" A Jane Austen inspired collage.

Monday, September 13, 2010
In the rush and bustle and noise of the world it is so lovely to take time for tea.  A Jane Austen inspired "Deer park" collage.
Sweet Miss Elizabeth Bennet taking tea in the park.

"Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future."
Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh

A little Gothic Femme Fatale

Saturday, February 13, 2010
After another visit to the dentist today I was feeling rather black.

I had found a gorgeous french vintage music sheet earlier in the day at my favourite vintage bookshop and inspired by a recent purchase from French Kissed this was the hauntingly dark result Suite Gothique now in Cafe Baudelaire shop.

Bird Cages

Sunday, January 31, 2010
I love birds and do not like to see birds in cages I think they should be free.

I do however find bird cages very attractive as decorative pieces.

This lovely collage is from my very talented daughter Tabitha Emma

I love the pieces in this wonderful shop Home Made Circus

And a little self indugence from my Cafe Baudelaire shop.
